OPWDD has released a draft Administrative Directive Memorandum (ADM) on contemporaneous documentation requirements for Medicaid HCBS Services. This policy will have a dramtic impact on Independent Self-Direction Support Brokerage Services. Brokers from across the State are telling us that these new administrative burdens will force them drop people from caseloads in order to meet these new and unresonable demands. Some brokers are even considering leaving the field all together!
