We aim to protect and improve the system of individual Self-Directed budgets in the New York State, as a key pathway to fostering integrated lives rooted in freedom of choice.

We work to make Self-Direction accessible to anyone who chooses it, assert the constitutionally protected rights of people with developmental disabilities to choose where and with whom they live, choose their services, and choose their goals, and put an end to policies that prevent the free exercise of choice.
